One partner brought clarity to Saka’s everyday IT operations
Frendy was selected as Saka’s IT partner through a public tendering process. Several factors influenced the decision: support for Apple and Google environments, nationwide coverage, cost comparisons, and references.

The Sopiva IT service model introduced a unified approach to maintaining and supporting workstations, mobile devices and the network across the entire organisation. Huoleton Verkko – network solutions that support a wide branch network
Network solutions are a significant part of Saka’s overall IT environment. Saka’s networks cover 31 locations and a total of around 50,000 square metres, including large hall facilities where the ceilings can reach up to eight metres in height. Saka adopted the Sopiva IT Network service, which includes not only maintenance and support but also the necessary service devices.
In many locations, the initial network documentation was incomplete, but Frendy visited the sites to assess the situations and implemented the solutions flexibly. After the groundwork was completed, the actual deployment was carried out in December 2025.
IT Service Manager Sami Savolainen says that the first impression of the new network environment is very positive. The manageability, visibility and cost tracking of the networks have all improved significantly.
The environment can be optimised remotely, and deviations or issues are detected quickly. The fact that optimisation and monitoring are included in the monthly service fee makes everyday work easier — especially during periods of change and office relocations.
